The emergency module is an optional extra for a selection of Kosnic LED downlights. It is designed for installing within the ceiling void to provide a battery back-up supply in the event of a power cut. It allows pass-through dimming from the mains but will switch to the battery supply in an emergency. The emergency module requires a permanent live un-switched supply to maintain the battery charge.
