Emergency Lighting Central Test Unit

The GARO Central Test Unit is designed to test emergency lighting systems battery pack(s). It achieves this by temporarily disconnecting the mains supply for the time selected. It also incorporates a test function which ensures that the product and any associated contactors are operating correctly without depleting the battery pack in the light fitting. The unit has a normally closed contact to test a single circuit, and a normally open contact to test multiple circuits.
A key advantage is that it is fitted within the distribution board and directly controls any related contactors. There is no additional wiring required outside the distribution board. GARO also supplies normally closed contactors, to be used in conjunction with the Central Test Unit. The GARO contactors are noiseless as they feature a DC coil.
